The Magic Formula To More Customers

Hope you are doing awesome today!

I just wanted to drop a quick hello, touch base, then give a quick lesson that can be learned from our mistakes.

First off, a big thank you to everyone for their concerns for Angie.  She is doing GREAT!  Handling everything like a champ and getting better every day.  Chomping at the bit to get back to CrossFit.

It was wonderful to feel the love everyone has for her and we appreciate our customers, past, present and future.  You are part of our family!

Now on to politics!  lol

Nope, not gonna get much politics from me.  No way.  Can't stand 'em.

The only thing I know about it is that in politics there are two groups of people trying to help their own group at the detriment of the other group.  Period.

As a local business owner that works with other local businesses I know that won't get a community very far.  (may not be great for a nation either) We are all in this together.

I use a saying a lot that is "compete together".  Yes there are competitors but if you always fight against them and trying to make your neighborhood crappy to bring down your competitors then there's a good chance you will be worse off.

When we compete together we lift everyone up.  A "rising tide lifts all boats" kinda thing.

And that's part of the lesson I want to share about my failures.

When I watch ANY politician I tell my kids "don't just listen to what they say, pay very close attention to what they actually do".

I think most would agree that those two things are usually pretty far apart no matter who you root for.  🙂

Angie and I make a living coaching local business owners on "getting leads, nurture your customer, follow up endlessly, become friends, make more money"... and we haven't been doing that enough.

YUK!  I feel like a "do what I say, not what I do" kinda leader.  lol

The magic formula is this:

1. Build a list
2. Contact them to sell em stuff
3. Sell em more stuff
4. Create as much goodwill as possible in the process

Copy that.
More to come...

I look forward to getting to know you even better.

If you need anything just hit reply!
